Co-founders Andy and Dwayne have built their careers around high-end, bespoke projects, bringing together over 35 years of combined experience in luxury renovations and custom homebuilding. Both began from a young age: Andy honing his craft on new home builds, and Dwayne specializing in high-end renovations and custom finishes. Over time, their skills, vision, and reputation set the foundation for Harbour Town Builders.
Their philosophy remains simple but ambitious: build with integrity, invest in people, and earn trust in every relationship.
Each Harbour Town Builders project reflects their goal of building a legacy of high-end homes designed to be lived in, cherished, and passed down for generations.
Together, they saw an opportunity to raise the standard of building in Saint Andrews – meeting the demand for exceptional custom homes while developing genuine apprenticeship opportunities to support the next generation of trades.

While Andy drives discipline and technical skill, Dwayne blends artistry and heritage, and Amanda keeps it all together – the business itself is a family, rounded out by a trusted group of local tradespeople – many of whom Harbour Town Builders has mentored into Red Seal certified professionals.
From the start, our company has invested in the next generation, bringing apprentices into the fold so that the community’s homes are built and rebuilt by skilled locals for years to come.

About Andy
Andy began his career through an apprenticeship in construction, with his very first project focused on converting barns into bespoke luxury homes – an introduction that set the foundation for his lifelong commitment to high-end, detail-driven craftsmanship.
His pursuit of service led him to the British Armed Forces, with active duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Jordan. Later, his work in private security protecting high-value infrastructure across the Middle East refined his discipline, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
In 2017, Andy returned to his first and most genuine passion – building. Emigrating to Canada with his young family, he brought with him a global perspective, technical expertise, and a sharp eye for architectural detail.
As co-founder of Harbour Town Builders, Andy blends military precision with creative vision. He raises the standard for local trades, demands excellence from every partner, and dedicates himself to crafting bespoke homes built to endure for generations.
Dwayne Doucette

About Dwayne
With more than 20 years of carpentry experience, Dwayne is recognized as one of Saint Andrews’ quiet innovators – a craftsman known for blending modern design with timeless heritage detail. His career has been built on high-end renovations, bespoke finishes, and meticulous attention to detail, earning him recognition for his award-winning renovations.
As a co-founder of Harbour Town Builders, Dwayne brings creativity, professionalism, and a deep respect for architectural history. Every project he leads reflects a balance of tradition and innovation, resulting in homes defined by character, craftsmanship, and enduring quality.
Beyond the jobsite, Dwayne is also the singer/songwriter of the award-nominated band Earthbound Trio and a co-owner of the Saint Andrews Brewing Company – both cornerstones of the community he proudly calls home.

About Amanda
Amanda Jackson ensures the smooth and professional operation of Harbour Town Builders, overseeing administration and client communications with precision and care. She brings structure and organization to the office, supporting the team with the systems and details that keep every aspect of the business running seamlessly.
Her professional background began as an electrical engineering apprentice with Manchester Airport, where she developed a sharp skill set in organization, problem-solving, and technical accuracy. Today, those same qualities define her approach to managing Harbour Town’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that clients receive clear communication, timely support, and an elevated service experience.
